On Friday, May 9, 2025, starting at 6 p.m., the Messel Fossil and Local History Museum will host the opening of an exhibition entitled “FLORAL WORLD”. Petra Vogel will present botanical paintings created almost exclusively with artist’s colored pencils. This art form depicts plants as exact as possible in form, structure, and color. The exhibition will be complemented by wooden sculptures by the artist couple Uschi and Ulrich Gottschalck. 

The works can be viewed during the museum’s opening hours until June 22, 2025.
