An exhibition opening will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7 PM at the “Fossilien- und Heimatmuseum Messel”, Langgasse 2 in Messel.

Our museum has already been a venue for many art exhibitions: photo painting, calligraphy, botanical painting, … The building from 1785 and the exhibition space downstairs have been considered beautiful and appropriate, but the objects usually on display take a back seat. However, they actually challenge thoughts and artistic associations: slag, clocks, Roman jugs, mayor’s chair, industrial products, … This touched Markus Müller, and he dared to turn this idea into an exhibition called “Interactions, Art Communicates with Our Museum.”

The exhibition will be on view during the museum’s opening hours (Saturday, Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM) until October 19, 2025.
